Join us for a day of tree planting and environmental conservation at Rio Reforestation, a community habitat restoration event! Rio Reforestation will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge's Milagro Tract.
Starting at 08:00 AM, we will come together to make a positive impact on our environment. By planting trees, we aim to create a greener and healthier future for our community.
So, mark your calendars and invite your friends and family to participate in this meaningful day. Let's make a difference together at the Rio Reforestation event!
- Dress code: closed-toe shoes, hat, etc.
- Things to bring, e.g., work gloves, bug repellent, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, tools, etc.
- Lunch, water, and drinks will be provided!
Directions: Please use the following address
904 W Doffin Rd, Pharr, TX 78577 to get to the designated tract. Once you arrive at this address, signs and volunteers will direct you to the planting site. Please note: to access the site, you will be driving beyond the border wall.
