Volunteers Needed for Pet Pantry

When analyzing data of animals who are surrendered to our shelter, a shocking percentage of pets arrive because their owners can not afford to feed them. As upsetting as this information is, we cannot blame the owners or the pets. Rather, we must find a way to assist the community to ensure that no pet goes home hungry. This is where the Pet Pantry comes in!

The Pet Pantry is a monthly PVAS event where our Laurie P Andrews center serves as a community resource for families who need additional assistance in keeping their pets well fed during these hard times. 

Volunteers are needed for the Pet Pantry which will be held at the Laurie P Andrews center on Saturday, January 15th from 9 am-12 pm. 

Volunteer duties include: 
- labeling and organization of pet food
- distribution of pet food
- coordination of drive-thru traffic
- more duties as assigned
