This position is to assist Visitor Services Staff in their daily work of maintaining the Museum's Gift Shop. Visitor Services is one of the most important departments in our Museum; they are the first face and contact that our visitors have with IMAS. Giving complete and accurate information about our events and programs is a key for our future visitors.
Tasks:
-Greeting our visitors in a friendly manner
-Providing visitors with general information
-Taking inventory in the Gift Shop
-Creating special displays for merchandise
-Cleaning and organizing the Gift Shop
-Assisting Gift Shop visitors with needs and recommending products
Qualifications:
Punctual, organized, responsible, professional, self-motivated, willingness to work with both children and adults. Retail experience preferred but not required.
