Join us on Friday, September 18 from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM for our upcoming BRIGHT Community Cleanup!
BRIGHT stands for Brownsville Residents Improving Grounds, Homes & Tomorrow , a City initiative that brings residents, volunteers, and City employees together to clean, improve, beautify, and give back to our Brownsville community.
College students will have the opportunity to volunteer alongside City of Brownsville employees, leadership, and executives while making a meaningful impact in the community!
Volunteers may help with:
-Cleaning and beautifying a Brownsville neighborhood
-Assisting elderly residents with moving or removing items they can no longer handle on their own
-Helping with lost or stray dogs in the area and connecting them with the animal shelter.
-Meeting City professionals while gaining hands-on community service experience
