Our shelter relies on our laundry room and our bowl washing station to keep clean towels, blankets, bowls and toys available for our shelter pets every day.
Laundry Room: Volunteers will help with laundry by putting loads into the washers and driers and folding each set of loads that will be taken to each department. When laundry tasks are in progress, volunteers can help keep up with the constant need for clean bowls.
Bowl Washing: Volunteers will be assisting with disinfecting and washing bowls for each pet room. This task is required to maintain fresh and clean bowls for all of our pets' kennels.
Your behind-the-scenes support helps keep our animals comfortable, clean, and cared for!
Attire:
Must wear pants or jeans (or appropriate-length shorts when allowed), a Volunteer T-shirt, and closed-toe shoes (preferably with grip).
Prohibited Items: Pants/jeans are NOT to be torn or ripped, see-through Leggings are NOT permitted. No sandals or Crocs unless approved by a CEED Supervisor. Tank tops are NOT permitted.
Jewelry: We strongly suggest avoiding hanging jewelry, facial jewelry, or excess jewelry.
Name Badge: You MUST wear your name badge at all times and keep it visible.
One headphone is permitted while completing this need.
