Join the City of Pharr and Keep Pharr Beautiful for the annual City of Pharr Trash-Off, a community-wide cleanup event held in partnership with Don't Mess with Texas® and the Adopt-A-Highway Program.
Volunteers will work together to help beautify the community by removing litter from designated areas throughout the City of Pharr. This is a great opportunity to give back, promote environmental stewardship, and make a positive impact on the local community.
Breakfast will be provided to registered volunteers, and all participants will receive a certificate documenting their volunteer service hours.
Volunteer Duties
- Assist with community litter cleanup efforts.
- Collect and properly dispose of trash in designated cleanup areas.
- Help keep public spaces clean and environmentally friendly.
- Follow safety instructions provided by event coordinators.
- Work collaboratively with fellow volunteers and community members.
Volunteer Requirements
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
- Bring a reusable water bottle if desired.
- Volunteers under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian, if applicable.
- Register prior to the event to help organizers prepare for breakfast.

Please arrive by 8:00 AM for check-in. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for outdoor activities. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. Cleanup supplies will be provided, and breakfast will be available for registered participants.
