Volunteer Role: Workshop Support – SCI Series (Workshop 4: Capstone Session)
Latinx Voces is seeking volunteers to support the final session of our Skills for Community Impact (SCI) Series—a hands-on, capstone-style workshop focused on applying storytelling, partnerships, and strategy into real-world implementation.
This session brings together concepts from previous workshops and emphasizes practical application, discussion, and participant engagement. Volunteers play a key role in helping facilitate a smooth, organized, and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteers will support both logistics and participant experience, including:
- Event setup and participant check-in
- Greeting attendees and helping create a welcoming environment
- Distributing materials (toolkits, worksheets, evaluation forms)
- Supporting session flow and transitions throughout the workshop
- Assisting with small group activities (timing, materials, basic guidance)
- Helping participants navigate activities or materials as needed
- Supporting facilitators with real-time needs during the session
- Assisting with cleanup and breakdown
