RGV Startup Week 2026 is a week-long celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and community across the Rio Grande Valley. Bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and community leaders, this event features startup bootcamps, workshops, panels, demo days, and networking opportunities designed to inspire action and connection in the Valley’s growing startup ecosystem.
Role Descriptions:
- Registration: Welcome and check in attendees, issue lanyards, assist walk-ins, and monitor room capacity. Be the friendly first point of contact and ensure a smooth start for each session.
- Setup Crew: Prepare the venue before sessions begin, arrange tables and chairs, restock food and drinks, and ensure all spaces are ready for workshops and panels.
- Breakout Room Host: Test A/V equipment, introduce speakers, manage Q&A, track attendance, and reset the room after each session. Must stay for the full session to ensure consistency and support.
- Transition Team: Guide attendees between sessions, reset furniture during breaks, assist with Demo Day setup, and manage foot traffic for a smooth flow throughout the event.
- General Support: Flexible role to assist team leaders wherever needed, covering unexpected tasks and ensuring the event runs smoothly.
