Want to make a difference serving the residents in Hidalgo and Starr Counties?
Help United Way of South Texas through its VITA Program (Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Program) to assist low-to-moderate income families earning a yearly household of $67,000 or less in providing free tax preparation services. VITA Volunteers will serve as "Tax Preparers" under the supervision of two experienced site coordinators. "Tax Preparers" are volunteers that are trained and certified to become tax preparers.
