We’re excited to invite volunteers to support the Downtown Renaissance Master Plan during First Friday in Downtown Brownsville on September 5, 2025, from 7 PM – 9 PM.
This plan will serve as a roadmap for the future of Downtown Brownsville, and your help in gathering community feedback is vital. First Friday, created by downtown business owners, is the perfect opportunity to connect with the community while celebrating the restaurants, shops, and nightlife that make our downtown vibrant.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Engage with visitors and encourage them to share their ideas for downtown.
- Ask people to scan a QR code and fill out the online survey.
- Support a local event that highlights and promotes our downtown businesses.
The First Friday event runs from 7 PM – 11 PM, but volunteers are only needed from 7 PM – 9 PM. Afterwards, you’re encouraged to stay, enjoy the evening, support our local businesses, and experience live music from Del Castillo.
