Help care for the trails and garden spaces at Frontera Audubon Thicket. Volunteers will assist with maintaining this unique natural habitat by helping with weeding, trimming plants along trails, planting vegetation, watering garden beds, and supporting the general upkeep of the thicket and gardens. These hands-on activities help preserve native plants and wildlife habitat while creating a welcoming outdoor space for visitors and the community.
This is a great opportunity for students to earn volunteer hours, spend time outdoors, and contribute to environmental stewardship in the Rio Grande Valley. No prior experience is required—just bring comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and a willingness to help.
