Inaugural Culture Fest to Celebrate Diversity in Edinburg, Texas
Edinburg is set to celebrate its first-ever Culture Festival at Promenade Park Amphitheater, 201 N McIntyre St., on May 18, 2024. This exciting event promises to be a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures that make up our community, featuring a lineup of cultural performances, delicious food, and unique cultural exhibits.
The Culture Festival, organized by the City of Edinburg Cultural Arts Department and the Indian, Korean, Juneteenth, and Filipino Committees, aims to promote understanding, appreciation, and unity among the various cultural groups in the city. The festival will showcase the rich traditions, music, dance, and cuisine of Filipino, African American, Korean, and Indian cultures.
The main stage performances will kick off at 6:00 PM with DJ music representing all cultural groups, followed by cultural performances by Filipino, African American, Korean, and Indian groups. The festival will conclude with a spectacular Unified Drummers performance at 9:00 PM.
This Culture Festival promises to be a fantastic event for the whole family, offering a unique opportunity to experience and celebrate the diverse cultures that contribute to the rich tapestry of Edinburg.
