The Socorro Foundation is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that serves people in need. We focus our efforts in partnering with volunteers and donors to provide a meaningful and rewarding volunteer experience while serving families in need. We work to make sure every donation and volunteer is utilized in the most effective area of need. We act as the hands and feet of our donors who cannot be in the trenches but want to support a worthy cause.
Our volunteers and donors work together to Educate, Serve and bring awareness to important causes. They serve by feeding, clothing, and caring for people in need. They bring awareness by participating in different Donor Led Campaigns and they help Educate people by teaching on the policies and procedures of the United States of America and family planning in case of an emergency.
We are uniquely located in South Texas where there is always a need to help families in search of a better life. Our current focus area has been serving families in need seeking asylum at the border. We are actively serving these families providing the needed supplies and shelter.
