The Outpatient Surgery Center is a department of the Rio Grande Regional Hospital, located caddy-corner to the main hospital in McAllen, TX. We offer a variety of outpatient surgical services including dental, laparoscopic, ophthalmology, plastic surgery and other general surgery, ENT & podiatry procedures.
What We Do
Designed exclusively for outpatient surgery, our staff includes board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists, registered nurses and medical technicians, professionally trained in surgical and recovery care. We specialize in same-day surgical procedures that allow patients to recover at home instead of overnight in a hospital. Since 1993, we have provided quality surgical care to thousands of patients in McAllen, and the surrounding areas of the Rio Grande Valley. Our surgery center is certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) holds state license and is accredited by The Joint Commission as a department of HCA Rio Grande Regional Hospital.
