Who We Are
Helping Precious Hearts (HPH) is a faith-based, community-focused nonprofit organization serving families throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Our mission is to strengthen and support families by meeting practical needs, fostering emotional and spiritual growth, and building a network of community support. We believe that strong families create strong communities, and that support should be accessible, judgment-free, and rooted in compassion.

Programs and Services
1. Community Outreach: We visit families directly in their neighborhoods to provide support through Bible studies, workshops, encouragement, and the distribution of essential items such as hygiene products, clothing, shoes, toys, and household needs. All services are free and require no registration.
2. Swap Shop Resource Center, 5429 N 23rd St, Suite E, McAllen, TX. Our Swap Shop is a small, boutique-style booth space where families can shop for free. It is self-guided, allowing families to come in whenever they need, and as often as they need, throughout the week. Clothing, children’s items, hygiene products, and household essentials are available, and families may also drop off donations to support others.
3. Community Events & Collaborations: We host family-centered gatherings, holiday events, workshops, and donation distributions, often in partnership with other local organizations. Event locations vary to serve the families in each area best.
