Who We Are
We are people from multiple nations serving impoverished and vulnerable populations such as orphans, widows, and others in severe poverty in East Africa. Our primary focus now is in Kenya, but we will expand into Uganda, COVID-permitting. Our Board is comprised of individuals from Texas and Kenya. We exist to see the love of Jesus shown more in the world through practical supports that let people know they are valued and loved by their Creator God.
What We Do
Mwangaza House International is strengthening communities in need for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus in East Africa. We are a faith-based 501(c)(3) based in Alamo, Texas doing work in Kenya, Africa. Our focus is on orphan rescue (operating a children's home), education of underserved children/youth, supporting national pastors, church families, and communities in various ways (food, shelter, medical care, Christian evangelism and discipleship, leadership training, water improvements, and more).
