Needs From: United Way of South Texas

Join us on Saturday mornings as we do land stewardship projects for Quinta Mazatlan. Volunteers will get to learn more about local ecology, sustainable landscaping practices, RGV biodiversity, and more, all while giving back to the ecosystems that support us.

Tasks include:

Plant seed collecting

Plant propagation (via seeds, vegetative propagation)

Planting trees, shrubs, vines

Basic garden care

Invasive species control

We recommend that volunteers bring their own garden gloves. Please contact Quinta Mazatlan for more information or if you have any questions about volunteering with us.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! By completing this form, you are agreeing to let us contact you about upcoming volunteer opportunities. We accept volunteers ages 14+, but if you are a minor, you will need a parent or authorized representative to sign a volunteer registration and release of liability. The form will appear during sign-up for you to accept, but minors will also need to print the signed release and bring it with them to Quinta Mazatlan when they come to volunteer.
