Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: McAllen Public LibraryWe are currently looking for approximately 10–15 volunteers to help throughout the day with a variety of event activities, including:Greeting and guiding attendeesCounting attendeesProviding directions to different stationsDistributing attendee surveysAssisting staff with breaks and general event support The goal of our annual festival is to inspire a love of reading, provide engaging and accessible programming, and bring our community together. The festival celebrates literacy, culture, storytelling, creativity, education, and the exchange of ideas through free programming for all ages. Volunteers would be required to review and sign our volunteer waiver forms before participating in the event.
