Volunteer: Earth x Space Celebration: Event Support & STEM Activity TeamThe Earth x Space Celebration is a free, family-friendly community event that brings together science, sustainability, education, and exploration. Held in Mercedes, Texas, the celebration connects families and young people with hands-on STEM activities, environmental organizations, astronomy experiences, community resources, and opportunities to imagine future careers. Volunteers will support event operations and assist in creating a welcoming and engaging experience for attendees throughout the celebration. Duties may include: Event setup and decoration Guest welcome and registration Activity booth assistance Youth STEM activity support Exhibitor and presenter assistance Crowd guidance and event navigation Photography and social media support Cleanup and event breakdown Serving as event ambassadors throughout the celebrationRequirements Comfortable interacting with families, children, and community members. Volunteers should be prepared to work outdoors for portions of the event.
