Volunteers will lead or assist with cooking classes designed to teach youth about nutrition, basic cooking skills, and healthy eating habits. Sessions can be scheduled for 45 minutes to 2 hours. Volunteers may participate once a week or daily depending on availability.
Volunteer Role: Guide or assist youth through cooking activities, teach practical skills, and promote healthy habits. Volunteers may participate as a lead instructor or assistant depending on their experience level.
Volunteer Requirements: Basic knowledge or interest in cooking or food preparation is welcome; ability to supervise youth safely in a kitchen or cooking space.
Materials: If you already have an activity planned and require specific materials, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg will gladly provide them.
Times: Flexible during program hours; sessions 45 min – 2 hrs. (M-F 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
