All McAllen Holiday Parade Volunteers must send a City of McAllen Volunteer Application to SCanizales@mcallen.net
BALLOON HANDLER – Handlers must be 18 and over and must weigh no less than 120 pounds. Handler will help put balloons in place and assist in getting them ready for the parade. Handler will work with a team to carry the giant cold-air helium inflatable balloons down the 1.5 mile parade route. This position requires attending a volunteer training session (date pending).

As a condition of volunteering with the City of McAllen, you are required to undergo a background check (at no cost to the volunteer.) Failure to provide accurate or complete information on your application may result in your placement being denied
