The Texas Turnout coalition is hosting community-oriented voter engagement/registration events on college campuses in Hidalgo County. These events will include games, prizes, raffles, inflatable, and free food for all students. Volunteers are needed to help facilitate activities at all events!
On October 21, AACT and the Texas Turnout Coalition will be at the student union of the UTRGV Edinburg campus, registering students to vote. We will have different activities in place to entice students to register and participate in early voting. Volunteers will assist AACT with the voter registration process and the various activities we will host on campus, such as inflatable games and a food truck. As volunteers come to our table, we will train you and assign you to one of our activities. Because this event is on-campus, please get in touch with us if you are interested. We will let you know where to park during the event.
