The Mujeres Unidas Walk in Her Shoes 5K Run/Walk/Awareness Fair is held every year during the month of April in conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
This year's event will be held on April 30th at Edinburg Municipal Park not only to bring awareness about sexual violence but also to raise much needed funds for the Mujeres Unidas Emergency Shelter, Family Justice Center, and Rape Crisis Center.
Students are encouraged to register for the event or sign up as a volunteer.
Volunteers are needed at 6:30 am to help set up mile markers & sponsor signs and at 10:30 am to help clean up.
Student organizations are welcome to set up informational tables.
