Description

The Salvation Army - McAllen, TX has its annual Angel Tree Program to help make Christmas a little more magical for children from low-income households. Through the Angel Tree Program, community donors adopt Angels (registered children) and purchase Christmas gifts for them. We collect the gifts and distribute them to the families in early December. In October, we start registering the children for this program. Parents of the children will be coming to register October 12-30. We need volunteers to help us prescreen our clients (making sure they have all their required documents for registration) before they meet with our caseworker.

Please call Eloise Montemayor at 956-682-1468 if you have any questions related to this volunteer opportunity. Otherwise, click on the Respond button and join us at 1600 N. 23rd St. McAllen, TX on the day and time you have chosen. Thank you!
