This event aims to bring the community together to share a hot Thanksgiving meal with those in need. Its purpose is to provide support and fellowship during the holiday season, especially for individuals and families facing difficult times. The event is focused on creating a warm, welcoming environment where participants can enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner and make meaningful connections.
Volunteer duties:
- Support for Elderly & Disabled Attendees: Volunteers will assist elderly or disabled guests, helping them get seated, carrying meals, and offering any additional support.
Experience Required: Volunteers with prior experience in hospitality are helpful but not required. Those who enjoy working with people will excel in this role.
Volunteers must follow any COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place at the time, including wearing masks, sanitizing hands regularly, and practicing social distancing when possible.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Volunteers should dress for the weather, especially for outdoor portions.
