This event aims to bring the community together to share a hot Thanksgiving meal with those in need. Its purpose is to provide support and fellowship during the holiday season, especially for individuals and families facing difficult times. The event is focused on creating a warm, welcoming environment where participants can enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner and make meaningful connections.
Volunteer duties:
- Setup & Cleanup: Volunteers will assist with setting up tables, chairs, and decorations before the event. Afterward, they will help with clearing tables, trash disposal, and breaking down equipment.
Volunteers must follow any COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place at the time, including wearing masks, sanitizing hands regularly, and practicing social distancing when possible.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Volunteers should dress for the weather, especially for outdoor portions.
Volunteers are needed from 3 PM to 9 PM to assist with setup, the event, and cleanup. Shifts can be divided as follows:
- Setup Crew: 3 PM - 4 PM
- Cleanup Crew: 8 PM - 9 PM
