Want to make a difference serving the residents in Hidalgo and Starr Counties?
Help United Way of South Texas through its VITA Program (Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Program) to assist low-to-moderate income families earning a yearly household of $67,000 or less in providing free tax preparation services. VITA Volunteers will serve as " Tax Preparers" under the supervision of two experienced site coordinators. " Tax Preparers" are volunteers that are trained and certified to become tax preparers.
All volunteers must be trained and IRS certified before volunteering at a VITA Site. Contact southtexasvita@gmail.com
