Background
The Challenge-RGV is more than a weight-loss competition; it's an opportunity for participants to start living a healthier & more active lifestyle! The Challenge-RGV partners with local gyms, fitness experts, nutritionists, and local organizations to help participants eat well, lose weight, when appropriate, and make long-term healthy changes.
The event is open to people 18 years and older from anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley. Individuals who participate in The Challenge-RGV have their baseline weight taken at the kickoff event in January, and then again at a midpoint weigh-in in March and at the finale in April.
We are in need of assistance with blood pressure checks, BMI readings, route counters, and more for The Challenge-RGV 2024 Midpoint at CycloBia on Friday, March 22nd in Downtown Brownsville. All volunteers are required to arrive at 5:30pm to assist with set up and to be at their assigned station by the event starting time (6:30pm).

Once we receive confirmation, volunteers will receive a calendar invite for the training.
