The American Red Cross needs volunteers for its upcoming smoke alarm campaign in Starr County. This initiative aims to highlight the importance of smoke detectors and educate the community. Volunteers will either inform homeowners about the importance of smoke detectors or assist with their installation. No training is required beyond basic hand drill operation.
The campaign will be held in La Grulla, TX, on September 21, 2024. Volunteers are needed from both the Upper Valley and Starr County.
