Holy Family Services is seeking a student volunteer to serve on its Board of Directors and support the organization’s mission through active participation, planning, and fundraising efforts. This is an opportunity for a student interested in gaining experience in nonprofit leadership, community service, and organizational development.

Duties may include:Participating in Board of Directors meetings and activitiesAssisting with planning and organizing fundraising eventsHelping prepare and set up fundraising activitiesSupporting outreach and community engagement effortsContributing ideas and assisting with organizational planningSupporting other Board-related activities as neededRequirements:Interest in nonprofit organizations, community service, or leadership.Dependability and willingness to actively participate in board activities.Strong communication and teamwork skills.No previous board experience is required.Scheduling

Board service will be conducted primarily virtually, with some in-person meetings as needed. Volunteers will receive at least two weeks’ notice for any in-person meetings or activities. Specific meeting dates and times will be coordinated directly with Holy Family Services.

Holy Family Services is seeking students to assist with general cleaning, organization, and upkeep of the organization’s property. Volunteers will help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming spaces throughout the facility and housing areas.

Duties may include:Cleaning and organizing the storage roomCleaning and maintaining the laundry roomCleaning communal areas within housing unitsAssisting with general organization and upkeep of the propertyScanning documents as neededRequirements:Volunteers must complete and sign all required volunteer documentation while on the premises.Dependability and willingness to assist with general cleaning and organizational tasks.No previous experience is required.Scheduling

Students should register through Engagement Zone to indicate their interest. Holy Family Services will follow up directly with registered students to coordinate available dates, times, and specific assignments.

Holy Family Services is seeking student volunteers to assist with an upcoming yard sale and vendor event. Volunteers will help create a welcoming and organized experience for vendors and attendees while supporting Holy Family Services throughout the event.

Duties may include:Guiding vendors to their assigned spaces during event setupWalking throughout the event to assist vendors with questions or additional needsHelping staff the Holy Family Services tableSelling raffle tickets and Holy Family Services shirtsAssisting with general event support as neededRequirements:Dependability and willingness to assist with event activities.Friendly and professional communication with vendors, staff, and community members.No previous experience is required

Help strengthen the organization's online presence by assisting with updates and improvements to its website. Participants will support efforts to refresh website content, improve site organization, and ensure information accurately reflects current programs, services, and resources. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in web design, digital communications, marketing, user experience, information technology, or content management.

Participants will help enhance the website's functionality, appearance, and accessibility while contributing to the organization's outreach and community engagement efforts.

Duties May Include:

Reviewing existing website content and identifying areas for improvement Updating program, service, and contact information Assisting with website design enhancements and layout improvements Improving navigation and user experience Supporting content organization and accessibility efforts Recommending strategies to increase website engagement and visibility Collaborating with organization staff to ensure information is accurate and up to date

This opportunity provides hands-on experience in website management, digital communications, and nonprofit outreach while helping the organization better connect with the community it serves.

Help expand community awareness of the organization's services through creative digital marketing and social media outreach. Participants will assist with developing engaging content that highlights the birth center's facilities, services, staff, and mission. This opportunity is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design, videography, photography, or content creation.

Participants will contribute to the organization's outreach efforts by helping create, organize, and schedule content designed to inform and engage current and prospective clients.

Duties May Include:

Creating social media graphics, videos, and promotional content Assisting with photography and videography of the facility, staff, and services Developing content ideas to increase community awareness and engagement Organizing and scheduling social media posts Supporting marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives Assisting with content planning and brand consistency Collaborating with staff to ensure accurate and professional messaging
