What We Do
The Award-Winning McAllen Public Library system is proud to serve a diverse and growing community. We offer a wide variety of events and classes for all ages, from storytime for children to English and computer classes for adults. We provide free Internet and workspace for individuals and groups. Our book, movie, and music collections are continuously evolving to support our growing community. All are welcome, whether you are studying for an exam, applying for a job, reading the newspaper, or looking for a movie to watch. We strive to provide the best possible library experience to everyone who walks through our doors or visits us online.
The annual South Texas Book Festival is our biggest and best event of the year!
