Who We Are
The Deep South Texas Master Gardener Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, educational, and charitable association in support of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Hidalgo County.
What We Do
Mission
The organization goals are:
A. To increase gardening knowledge to its members and the general public;
B. To support and assist the Texas A&M AgriLife Extensio...n Service-Hidalgo County by providing the community with information and guidance on good gardening practices through personal contact, news articles, clinics, and presentations to garden clubs, schools and community groups;
C. To support youth horticulture education, especially the Junior Master Gardener Program;
D. To assist Master Gardener Interns in fulfilling their volunteer commitments.
