Who We Are
Sentli is a nonprofit organization that aims to reconnect people to the land and local food system. We strive to increase the accessibility and affordability of nutrient-dense, sustainably grown food for our communities and ensure the viability of our family farms. Sentli’s vision is to regenerate a thriving local food system where farmers grow in harmony with nature and community members work side by side to nourish the mind, body, and soul. We accomplish this through education, regeneration, food policy, and research.
What We Do
Sentli Center operates a 1-acre urban organic farm in Edinburg, Texas, that provides fresh produce to the community. The farm serves as an outdoor classroom to teach residents how to grow their food using regenerative practices that support soil health and protect the environment. We host school field trips to encourage the next generation to nurture the land and eat healthily. We also provide monthly gardening workshops for everyone. Sentli distributes locally grown produce through farmer's markets, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program, and donations. Additionally, we offer nutrition and cooking classes on how to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into our diets.
