Who We Are

Citizens' Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy climate change organization focused on national, state, and local policies to address the climate crisis. It exists to create the political will for a livable world by enabling individual breakthroughs in the exercise of personal and political power.

What We Do

Our volunteers include everyone, engineers in the natural gas industry, farmers, and everyone in between. Some are PhDs who have spent careers researching the intricacies of climate change; others are concerned citizens who want to help. CCL organizes volunteers into hundreds of local chapters across the US and internationally. These chapters build political support for climate action with various tools, which they use in keeping with their local culture and politics. By focusing on shared values rather than partisan divides, we build relationships with community leaders, federal elected officials, and Congress, always starting from a place of respect, gratitude, and appreciation.
